I've been Bee-sy researching

Hello! Welcome to my fourth blog! I'd say this week went a lot better than the last, especially since I started it off celebrating my new position in Circle K. I spent a lot of time with good friends this week, and it was pretty relaxing until the weekend, when the first HCP rough draft due date got closer.
This week, I did a lot of research for this HCP, half of it was done at the library during the week, and the other this weekend, while I wrote my essay. I looked for articles and books related to bees and their social behavior. I was able to find plenty of these, but also came across writings dealing with bee cognition. I thought this would also be a good topic to include in my HCP, as bee cognition is a stepping stone for bee behavior and social groups.
One of the strengths of my current draft is the amount of scientists and researchers I included, a weakness would probably the organization and length. I guess I did not do enough research to come up with at least six pages for my rough draft. I will add length to my essay by doing more research and including possibly another topic or just more details for each section. This is something I will definitely work on for my final draft. Also, I will have to carefully revise my essay so that the organization is clear and easy to follow.
The most challenging thing about writing this draft was finding the resources, I'm still not completely comfortable using the library's tools, so that was a bit of a problem for me when looking for articles. Another problem was that the sources I found were unavailable or would cost money, this only allowed me to use the previews provided, if there was a preview at all. This was extremely frustrating for me, because a lot of the books and articles that I wanted to use were from some of the most famous and respected researchers/scientists in this field. I couldn't really overcome this, so I really just used any previews that I could find, luckily there was some relevant information in those that became useful. Also, I just continued looking for more sources and articles that were available for free.
A practice I used that was pretty helpful keeping every tab that I opened, open, and bookmarking it. Then, organizing the tabs into windows depending on the subject. This allowed me to organize the different websites and articles categorically, and because everything was bookmarked, I was able to easily refer back to the pages when closed.
A bee-related social media campaign that I found was one by the company Burt's Bees. The campaign is simply called "Bring Back the Bees," and is aimed to help the problem of disappearing honey bees. Burt's Bees is pledging to plant 1,000 wildflowers for every tweet with the hashtag #BringBackTheBees and for every limited edition lip balm purchased. The wildflowers planted help the forage needed for bees to pollinate so that they can stay alive.
